Check out this interesting time-lapse video of Hush (interviewed) working on his large mural from his solo show “Hymn of Beauty” at Carmichael Gallery in LA (coverage here).  His next stop will be at the legendary Fifty24SF Gallery / Upper Playground in San Francisco, opening April 2nd.

After the bold showing of large scale original pieces in Los Angeles, the new show focuses on the other side of Hush’s oeuvre – hand finished prints.  Hush tells us that there will be 8 new hand finished prints on show – three in an edition of 5, two in an edition of 25, and three in an edition of 10.  With such small edition sizes, demand is sure to be high for the new work.  Look here for further coverage of this show but in the meantime, take a look after the jump at some of the work Hush has been doing in the streets, between shows…

Hush has also put up 2 recent street pieces based on the ‘desire’ painting from his Carmichael show. One a block behind Venice Beach whilst in LA, along with Flip and Retna, and a collaboration piece with copyright and Prefab on his home turf in Newcastle.
