This new piece from Marcel Dzama caught our eye when we stopped by the David Zwirner booth yesterday at the Art Basel press preview. Painted on perforated player piano paper (alliteration not intended), the new works appear more complex and rich. Not only were these available for sale, it was also a preview for what to expect from Dzama’s show at the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal early next year in Canada.
