Last week in San Francisco, Alex Lukas brought his post-apocalyptic visions to the Guerrero Gallery, featuring submerged metropolis, overgrown skyscrapers, and derelict cities. Utilizing a complex technique on paper that includes ink, acrylic, watercolor, gouache and silk screen, the Philadelphia based artist paints a desolate future where humans may play no part, focusing on the fragility of our modern society.

One piece in particular was the highlight of the show – a large panoramic piece that could be viewed in almost 360 degrees. This and more seen in the opening pics after the jump from Berlin Tomas.
