Last weekend, alongside Jeremy Fish, the Mark Moore Gallery also featured the work of Kenichi Yokono. The last time we had an opportunity to take in a large body of work from the Japanese artist, it was 2009 and we were at Art Basel Miami week. Rise of the Underground featured more of his signature carved woodblocks and it was a joy to examine his intricate details close up. This time around, some of his piece included skateboard-like elements to the compositions.
