Videos: Dabs Myla – “Christmas Mural 2011″ (Los Angeles)

Late last year during the holidays, we brought you pictures from Dabs Myla‘s latest mural which took place in the Culver City of Los Angeles (covered). It turns out the project (set up through Branded Arts and Thinkspace Gallery) has a story behind it that could be just as interesting as the aesthetic value of the mural itself. Filmmaker and AM contributor Carlos Gonzalez documented the project from beginning to end and got a chance to hang out with the couple during this entire process. The result is now a video which tells a holiday tradition that Dabs Myla have been a part of during the last few years and one which hopefully gives the viewers an insight into how street art can be more than just colorful lines and characters painted over a wall.
