Londoners have already seen evidence of Shepard Fairey’s¬†(featured)¬†presence on the streets, but tonight (October 19th), the¬†StolenSpace Gallery¬†will be putting a new body of work from the prominent American street artist on display¬†entitled¬†Sound and Vision. Shep’s first exhibition in London Town in five years will see him create art with one of his¬†greatest inspirations in mind – music. Friend and collaborator Z-Trip will be on hand to supply the soundtrack to the artwork that will include¬†mixed media works on canvas,¬†screen prints (wood, metal, and paper), rubylith cuts, and retired stencils¬†as well as an installation of a record store environment, with customized vintage turntables and a portion of his own record collection for public listening.
