Returning to the gallery that housed his massive solo in New York back in 2010, Ron English (featured) will be unveiling new works this week at the Opera Gallery. Entitled Crucial Fiction, the new series of paintings put on technical skills which are reminiscent of old master paintings, but applied to imagery biting commentary of pop culture and the commercialization of our culture.
