Ernest Zacharevic recently visited Singapore where he created several fantastic street pieces. Known for his street art installations, where he combines his realistic painting with the use of 3D objects, the Lithuanian born artist created several very playful pieces around city. Focused on painting cheerful images, often showing children at play, his murals are very popular with by-passers that come across them, and these pieces surely won’t be any exception to that. Such imagery is a perfect step forward towards accepting this form of art in a city where there are severe punishment for graffiti and street art. By creating these positive and cheerful imagery, both the artist and his helpers hope to get such ways of artistic expression welcomed and accepted in Singapore.
