Later this month, November 23rd to be exact, the Corey Helford Gallery will be hosting a new solo show from SHAG (interviewed). The fresh paintings play on the phrase Pink Elephants, first coined by Jack London in 1913 to describe the hallucinations experienced from excessive alcohol consumption. He recently had to cut himself off as he found that it was interfering with his work ethic. So in it’s place, he has continued to expanded on the imagery of his characters enjoying their drink, part of the hip retro lifestyles he portrays in his paintings. More preview images below…
