Dutch street artist Laser 3.14 (featured), opened a solo show, Troublemakers Make The World Go Round, at Galerie Bart in his hometown of Amsterdam on April 12th. Through this exhibition, the mysterious artist introduced the indoor versions of the infamous statements, thoughts and slogans that he’s been painting around the city for the last 15 years. From writings on reclaimed builder boards, to cutout metal shields, and four colorways of a new fluorescent print edition (available here), these works are his comments and observations on the state of our society on many different levels. From addressing global issues, to commenting on local phenomenons,  his work quickly finds a way into the mind and heart of passersby that read them. “I see no difference between the city and the work that I add to its walls. The only distinction is that my work is consciously accessible to the public while the poetry of the city is not visible to everyone” says this prolific artist, whose work slowly became a landmark element of one of the most vibrant and extraordinary cities in the world. The show closes on the 25th of April, so make sure you check it out if you’re visiting Dutch capital.
