For those of you who liked the massive painting James Jean (interviewed) sent to the Masterworks show in Long Beach (covered) and the monster Adrift piece he created earlier this year, you are in luck. The two images have been reproduced on to the double-sided dustjacket that unfolds from his new book Pareidolia. The 288 page publication (available for preorder now) is bilingual (English – Japanese) and will feature old and new works.

Those interested in meeting Jean in person and getting their books signed will have an opportunity starting next month. He’ll be at Kinokuniya in San Francisco on October 30th starting at 6 pm and in Los Angeles at Hennessey + Ingalls on November 1st from 2-4 pm.
