In May, we shared with you the amazing takeover by JR (interviewed) at the famous Louvre in Paris where he pasted over the iconic pyramid using photographs of the surrounding structures. Looking at the right angle, it appeared that the pyramid in the main courtyard “disappears” from sight. Who better to collaborate with next in an inception-like project than with China’s disappearing man – Liu Bolin? With both the French and Chinese artist painted over, the two friends (see 2012 collaboration) blended in with the already camoflauged pyramid behind them.

This intriguing intervention is now available as a print from Magda Danysz, which you should contact if you are interested in adding it to your collection. Entitled Hidden in the City: the Louvre Pyramid (with JR), the edition is produced as a run of 12 + 2 AP and measures 200 x 150 cm.
