After hosting couple of successful fundraising auctions, solidarty.org is back with another fund raising effort. On the 28th of December, they will be having a charity sale of previously unsold work along with newly donated pieces by world renowned urban and contemporary artists.
The project was started in November 2015 with an idea to provide artists a platform through which they could sell their work for charity donations. With collectors making payments directly to the AreYouSyrious organization, 100% of the proceeds were put into helping the refugee crisis – from supplying food and clothes, providing a safe and quick journey for sick kids, equipping a mobile kitchen and setting up a refugee camp on the Turkey/Syria border. The next sale will be including most of the previously unsold works as well as new donations by such names as Pryce Lee, Nicola Verlato, Taylor Mckimens, Belin, Aryz, Joakim Ojanen, Tim Biskup, Jeffrey Gillette, Kennard-Phillips (seen above), MTO, etc .
