David Bloch Gallery in Marrakech is currently hosting a third solo show from RemedPlenium opened on December 23rd, consisting of a vibrant series of canvas, drawings and sculptures inspired by Spanish artist’s latest trips around the world. Constantly inspired by Moroccan culture and its distinctive elements, this body of work strongly relies on the conjunction of geometry and calligraphy. Using the flow and the energy of the line along with the vibrancy of his limited color palette, Remed is seeking a harmonic and mathematic purity with his work. Though figurative in its very basis, the pieces are actually abstract with lots of geometric and calligraphic elements. With his recognizable aesthetics, he is aiming to create a universal language capable to communicate about existential duality such life and death.
