AM met up with Brandi Milne this past weekend and got a chance to see what she has in store for her new exhibition “Run Rabbit, Run” which opens this Friday, April 10th from 7-11PM at Thinkspace Gallery. As always, you can expect to see a creative body of work from Brandi. There will also be a special installation made up of a collection of hand painted antique books. Openings: Hi-Fructose Group Show – “Overdose” @ Copro Gallery

“Overdose” (previewed) opened this past Saturday at Copro Gallery in Santa Monica. Upon entering the gallery, you will notice several great pieces from “Overdose” on display in the gallery’s front room. The majority of the exhibition’s body of work is displayed in the gallery’s main room. A table was set up over in the smaller wing of the gallery for the Hi-Fructose Collected Edition 1 book signing. Luke Chueh’s “From Light Cometh Darkness” (previewed) openedÂ last nightÂ at Corey Helford Gallery. Anticipating a big crowd, AM dropped by Corey Helford about an hour before the show opening to take pictures of Luke’s artwork. Openings: Ana Bagayan @ Billy Shire

Ana Bagayan presented new work at Billy Shire this past Saturday, March 14th. AM met up with Ana during the first hour of the opening reception. She took us through and showed us her new pieces, which include 9 paintings, 10 drawings and a numbered edition print. “Transcenders” opened in Los Angeles at Gallery 1988 last night. The group show features work from Jason D’Aquino, Doktor A, Scott Scheidly, Jason Limon, and Michael Page.
