Releases: Liqen – “Devenire Fetus Granata” Lithograph

Last October, Liqen spent some time in Vicenza, Italy, working on his newest lithograph at Busato Workshop. Working at the same table as Miró, De Chirico and Rafael Alberti did back in the days was quite an experience for an artist fully dedicated to creating traditional artwork. Whether he is working on drawings, paintings, murals, ceramics, or creating limited editions, the Spanish always makes sure he is using the most challenging ways of producing work. Devenire Fetus Granata is part of the series “Behavioval” (Oval Behavior), the idea based on […]

Art Focus: Josh Jefferson

After years of flirting with art while primarily being a sax player, Josh Jefferson finally switched to painting in 2012 after attending the School of the Museum of the Fine Arts in Boston. These days he is actively painting different conceptualizations of the human face, ranging from stickman, doodle-based ones to recognizable single brushstroke portraits. Being fairly young in terms of years of creating, Josh’s work explores the different ways of representing a human face or even just a shape, through different mediums and concepts. In […]

Thomas Canto recently introduced his latest big project, the Illusory Perspectives installation at Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris. This large installation continues his series of futuristic aesthetics-oriented works which combine urban and geometrical elements in an eclectic abstract form. Mixing painted patterns with actual objects and a grid of both lines and threads installed in the space, the French artist creates a multidimensional work that plays with observers’ perspectives.
