Following up his sculptural edition for last year’s ComplexCon, Mike Lee recently released a now sold-out figure set he called Bump & Grind. The porcelain dancers caught in an intimate moment are his first collaboration with Case Studyo and are three-dimensional representations of his signature faceless and bulbous characters. Releases: Barry McGee – “BE@BRICKs & Apple Watch Sport Band” Set

For those that like the repeating patterns that make up a big part of Barry McGee work, here a chance to add an art object from him to your collection. Releases: James Jean – “90th Anniversary Mickey & Minnie Mouse Sculpture Set”

Tomorrow (November 10) between 11am-1pm, James Jean (interviewed) will be signing and releasing the Mickey & Minnie Mouse limited edition sculpture set at BAIT Los Angeles to celebrate the 90th birthday of the two Disney cartoons. Created with Good Smile Company, the project transforms the two iconic characters into porcelain succulents frozen in time, shedding and regrowing petals after decades of constant evolution. Recap: ComplexCon 2018

Releases: Barry McGee x Sonos x Beastie Boys – “Play:5 Speaker”

Coming up soon, Sonos will be releasing a collaboration with Barry McGee on one of their Play:5 Speakers that celebrates the release of a new memoir from the Beastie Boys. Releases: Lu Pingyuan – “Look! I’m Picasso!” Figure

We first noticed the works of Lu Pingyuan at this year’s Art Basel HK (covered), where he successfully introduced his Look! I’m Picasso! body of work. Half a year later, the Chinese artist has created a limited edition figure of one of the characters from the series, which will be available soon. The entire series was inspired by a single scene from the Toy Story movie in which Mr. Potatohead ends up with his features all twisted and says “Look! With the help of tastemaker Swizz Beatz, Bally recently launched a new capsule collection with artwork from Shok-1. Known for his unique x-ray aerosol technique, the British artist recently traveled to Japan and Hong Kong (seen above) to promote the release of a selection of sweatshirts, joggers, totes, fanny packs, sneakers, and hats for both men and women.
