Eine recently collaborated with the popular British designer on a series of bags featuring his signature imagery. More images after the jump…

Releases: Ryan McGinley – “Everybody Knows This is Nowhere” Limited Edition Book

To accompany Ryan McGinley’s insanely popular exhibition (the opening had to be shut down by the fire marshal due to the volume of the crowd) Everybody Knows This is Nowhere, Dashwood Books has released a limited edition, hardcover book featuring images from the acclaimed photographer’s current show at Team Gallery. The $95 book, an edition of 2,000, is the artist’s “most ambitious book to date, a beautifully produced volume, luxuriously printed in tritone with a folded poster wrap.” It looks as though all 100 images […]

Aurel Schmidt T-Shirts for Opening Ceremony

If you have been following artist Aurel Schmidt’s work, you may notice that she prefers to draw litter, debris, or ephemera that you could find in any trash bin or on the ground within a few steps of any busy city street.  Take, for example, the above drawing. The piece hangs in Opening Ceremony’s Ace Hotel shop and now has been been used to create 11 t-shirts, each one containing a different letter from the original artwork.  You can purchase one for $60 each at […]

Update: Dan Baldwin Collaborations

The worlds of art and fashion design often collide, and it seems that Dan Baldwin’s (interviewed) multi-layered textures are soon to make it onto the clothing racks of London’s well-heeled fashionistas. Dan is no stranger to working in different mediums, and we think that his art fits pretty well on these silk linings and fabrics used in collaboration with British fashion designer Sara Berman on her upcoming 2010 autumn collection. Speaking of Baldwin’s artistic collaborations, Dan and Hush (interviewed) just released two super-limited edition prints from the recent […]
