Teaser: “The Enchanted Forest” @ Strychnin Gallery (Berlin)

Coming up next month on May 13th, the Strychnin Gallery in Berlin will be presenting The Enchanted Forest. The group show, which features forest inspired imagery and partially benefits the WWF, was apparently put on in concordance with the United Nation’s International Year of Forests.  Artists include Luke Chueh, Mia Araujo, Travis Lampe, Lindsey Carr, Tom Bagshaw and many more. Openings: “Quentin vs. Coen” @ Bold Hype Gallery

A while back, AM stopped by the Bold Hype Gallery to take in the opening of Quentin vs. Coen put on by our friends at Spoke Art. The massive group show which on lasted several days featured artwork inspired by cult-movie directors Quentin Tarantino and the Coen Brothers. Openings: Souther Salazar – “You Come Too” @ Jonathan LeVine Gallery

Last Saturday in New York, Souther Salazar presented a delightful new body of work at the Jonathan LeVine Gallery. The show, entitled You Come Too, featured paintings of fantastical worlds, inventive mixed media assemblages, and rich installations centered around ideas of inclusion, sharing adventure, and togetherness which in no small part were inspired by his recent life experiences. Preview: Naoto Hattori – “The Magic Caravan” @ Dorothy Circus Gallery

The last time we covered one of Naoto Hattori’s exhibitions, he was wowing the Los Angeles crowd with his psychedelic works. Next Thursday, on April 28th, he opens another show a world away in Italy at the Dorothy Circus Gallery entitled The Magic Caravan alongside Mark Elliot. James Jarvis x Coca Cola 125 Year Anniversary Cans

We last caught up with James Jarvis (interviewed) when he created a sweet animated short for Nike. After seeing Pakayla Rae Biehn in several group shows, it’s nice to see her finally present a larger body of work.
