AMÂ recently had a chance to sit down with Johann Haehling von Lanzenauer, Co-Director of the Circleculture Gallery in Berlin for a little talk about the history of the gallery and Johannâ€™s insight into the art world. Releases: KAWS x Hajime Sorayama Collaboration – “No Future Companion”

As is often the case, KAWS breaking news comes from originalfake with the uploading of this robotic image of the newest KAWS release. The figure is a collaboration between KAWS and and his friend Hajime Sorayama, a Japanese artist famous for his sexy robotic “pin-up” art. The melding of the KAWS companion and Sorayama’s “Future Mickey Mouse” will definitely be in high demand but no word yet on pricing… Update: Apparently there will be a more rare black version along with the silver. Peep this little preview of “Motion Portrait” by WK Interact. It’s set to open this Saturday at Jonathan Levine Gallery. The French artist, who’s well known for his energetic style, will unveil a large scale group of portraits called “12 Angry Men” (loosely based on the classic film). AM continues to look at the upcoming auctions with a review of the July 1st Vision 21 auction at Bonhams in London. Generally a grab bag of post war and contemporary art and design items, the auction is of particular interest to us this season as Bonhams has stuck a small selection of “Urban Art” in the back of the catalog.
