Augustine Kofie’s Building From Memory exhibition concludes this weekend after a five week run at Openspace in Paris. This is the LA-based artist’s third show with the gallery and the title refers to the acquisition and repeated application of knowledge. Nuart Street Art Buses (M-City)

Nuart Festival just announced the continuation of their series of curated Street Art buses (covered), as part of their on-going project to establish Stavanger as the world’s first ‘Art City’. The latest addition to the fleet of a local bus company Kolumbus has been designed by the M-City. Aside from turning the standard public bus into a three-dimensional, mobile artwork, the Polish artist created an engaged and provocative piece by painting a raft full of people on the side of it. On March 18th, Weinstein Gallery in San Francisco hosted a big comeback solo show by DALeast (interviewed). After more than a year of traveling and self discovery, the Chinese-born artist introduced a new body of work entitled Plasma. Taking the scientific definition of plasma as an inspiration, the new pieces continue artist’s quest for inner self and speak to the connection between living beings on Earth. The Toaster art collective have opened a ‘pop-up’ exhibition at Jealous Gallery in London. Revisiting their installation (covered) from 2012 in the Favela of Vila Brasilandia, at the north of Sao Paulo, Boa Mistura returned to update the project. Entitled Luz Nas Vielas, the undertaking saw the collective paint a series of words and colors through their signature use of anamorphosis in the alleyways of the favela. On Monday, April 3rd, the Brooklyn Museum will host the seventh annual Brooklyn Artists Ball. This year’s event will honor Brooklyn Museum trustee and music producer Kasseem “Swizz Beatz” Dean and artist and activist Alicia Keys for their outstanding commitment to art in all its forms. First introduced in China during the Back To School mural project in September 2016, than recreated at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Lyon, for his Wall Drawings exhibition, Seth will be releasing his In My Head image as a limited edition lithograph. Available from March 30th via agencesixpm.com this will be an inaugural edition for the new Paris-based art agency. Although we’ve barely warmed up to KAWS’ latest product (covered), he surprises us with even more news via Instagram. “I’m happy to finally be able to announce a new project releasing this April with Uniqlo…” Like his previous Uniqlo project, there will be KAWS x Peanuts apparel as well as some plush toys apparently this go around (see below).
