Preview: Eriberto & Estevan Oriol – “Like Father, Like Son” @ Carmichael Gallery

AM recently attended the star studded charity art show Made In Polaroid held at Phillips de Pury. The benefit was a one night auction that featured 50 works created by the 50-50-50 project using Polaroid’s mobile printer. All proceeds went to support Free Arts NYC. Several days ago, Gestalten Space played host to the opening of the first solo exhibition in Berlin by Carlos Rolon, better known as Dzine. The multi-talented Chicago-based artist presented a diverse body of work including photos, screen prints, as well one of his signature blinged-out bicycles of which this exhibition utilized as its centerpiece. Streets: Mentalgassi for Getxo Photo 2011 (Spain)

For this fifth edition of the festival dedicated to photography, GETXOPHOTO, that takes place in Spain, Berlin collective Mentalgassi decided to create four spherical portraits and float them in the sea.
