Releases: Josh Keyes – “The Cerberus Project” Print

As mentioned in our coverage of The Magician’s Garden in San Francisco last month, Josh Keyes (interviewed) will be releasing a print to coincide with the recent conclusion of the exhibition. Democratically chosen by collectors on his message board with overwhelming support, The Cerberus Project is now in the final stages of production, at a new printing house to correct some of the minor issues with the past couple, with release plans recently being unveiled. As with his last release through POW, Banksy will once again generously use his clout by donating the proceeds from the sale of a new poster to a good cause. Instead of going towards the bail set on imprisoned members of Russian subversive street art collective Voina, the money will go to the Peoples Republic of Stokes Croft, in an effort to help in the wake of the Bristol Tesco riots over the weekend. On May 7th, Subliminal Projects will be hosting a new group exhibition. The premise of the show is to gather together artists of today with their interpretation of classical figure painting but with a contemporary twist. Participants include Mary Jane Ansell, Sean Cheetham, Ron English (featured), Benjamin Bryce Kelly, Miles ‘Mac’ MacGregor, Ann Marshall, Stephen Wright, and Jonathan Yeo.
