Ahead of the May 7th reveal of his upcoming SEEING/WATCHING permanent art installation (seen in below) curated by AllRightsReserved at Changsha International Finance Square in China, KAWS will be releasing an assortment of associated merchandise. Releases: Nychos – “Translucent Hare” Print

It looks like Nychos just dropped a new print entitled Translucent Hare, which is appropriate at this time seeing as Easter is coming up. The 24 x 24 inch giclee print features one of the anatomic dissections the Austrian streets artist is known for. Releases: KAWS – “BFF (Pink)” Figure

Starting tomorrow at 10 am (EST), KAWS will be releasing the pink version of his BFF vinyl figure thru his website. Also available at that time will be the black colorway, and for those completists out there, the MoMA design store will have all three colors (blue, black, and pink) at their physical location as well as online starting tomorrow. Releases: Patrick Martinez – “I Am” Neon Multiple

Neons are one of Patrick Martinez’s most recognizable series of work, oftentimes utilizing hip-hop inspired snippets of text. For this latest limited edition (run of 25 + 5 APs) entitled I Am, the Los Angeles-based artist has referenced 1968 civil rights protest signs, continuing the aspect of his work that deals with social issues. Each piece consists of 11″ x 19″ neon on black plexiglass and comes signed and numbered. Those interested should contact The Mistake Room thru email ([email protected]). Releases: James Jean x Defonce – Custom Chocolate Bar

James Jean (interviewed) recently announced the release of a collaborative product with Defonce Chocolatiers that feature his artworks and design. The custom bar features cannabis-infused white chocolate splashed with Rosé champagne and showered with pistachios and strawberries. Starting on March 17th (12am midnight PST), two new limited editions will be available from Audrey Kawasaki (interviewed) time limited to 48 hours. Currently in New York at Morgan Lehman’s auxiliary space (526 West 26th Street, 4th Floor), there is a small popup show of Paul Wacker’s work on view. Running from March 8-10, the short term exhibition will feature a book launch party Friday night (5 – 8 pm) featuring Wacker’s newest book – You Are Welcome Here.
