Every Josh Keyes fan knows how difficult it is to acquire a piece of his work, even his prints. All three of the prints released as part of “Fragment” (covered), Keyes’ January show at Jonathan LeVine Gallery, were small editions of 50 and not surprisingly sold out instantly to collectors on the show’s long waiting list. With SDCC (last year’s coverage here) right around the corner, you can expect more chatter related events surrounding the yearly extravaganza as it draws closer. One release that we have been looking forward to is Luke Chueh’s (interviewed) “Black in White” figure. Hi-Fructose recently gave us a peek at the new Aaron Horkey release, dropping early tomorrow (Friday, June 18th) through Dead Arts Publishing. Consisting of three older images in their original black and white format, as well as a new chess themed print, “The Rook”, the set is printed exclusively as letterpress editions and looks to have all the bells and whistles that we saw for his last Dead Man release. D*Face (interviewed) sent us these great pictures taken on a warm and sunny day in London last week by photographer Viktor Vauthier. What better way to spend an afternoon than with a couple of girls armed with super-soakers? You can bet that we wouldn’t look quite so good in one of these new tees just released in D’s store, but at least we might feel good, as both shirts are made from 100% recycled plastic bottles. AM UK recently attended the bustling evening that was the London launch of Patrick Nguyen & Stuart Mackenzie’s “Beyond The Street” book, hosted at Phillips de Pury. The level of support for the book came over extremely positively in the number of people that attended the event. Preview: Aftershock LA – Art Auction Benefit

An eclectic art show and event, Aftershock LA, organized by Cafe Mode, is set to open tonight, May 15th at the Royal/T Cafe.
