Releases: EINE – Home Sweet Home print

Ben Eine, whom we last saw at his “A to Z of Change” show at Carmichael Gallery (covered), has just released a new print through Friend and Co. Measuring approximately 19.5″ x 27.5″, this hand pulled two color screenprint is limited to only 50 copies and will run you $123. Available now through Friend and Co. Releases: Joe Sorren – “Mr. Kurabi’s Tales of Lovely-ness and All Things Eaten” Bronze Sculpture

Remember when we showed you the initial sculpt for a beautiful new bronze from Joe Sorren. Well, the final sculpt and patina has been revealed for “Mr. Kurabi’s Tales of Lovely-ness and All Things Eaten,” Sorren’s first sculpture release in three years. Measuring 14″ high and mounted on a handmade 360 degree wooden swivel stand, the limited edition (24) piece is available exclusively through Joshua Liner Gallery, the site of Sorren’s show in March. Releases: Ron English – “Super Size Me” (Halloween Edition)

Ron English (featured) and Secret Base have a special treat for your Halloween celebrations. They have teamed up to to produce a limited edition “Super Size Me” figure from English, but this time, a Halloween skeletal edition.  The figure comes in two colors and will be available from Armth. Releases: Steve Powers – “New York”

Up now on POW, a beautiful new print by Steve “ESPO” Powers entitled “New York.” Here are the details: Four color screenprint on heavyweight archival paper 25″ x 25″ Edition of 125 Signed and numbered by the artist £205.00 (approximately $350) Update: Not surprisingly, it looks like this print is almost sold out.

Releases: Jim Houser – “Make Room for the Emptiness”

Today, at 11am Eastern, The BLDG will be releasing a new 6-color hand-pulled screenprint by Jim Houser. The print, created for his show “Make Room for the Emptiness” at the Jonathan LeVine Gallery (covered) is 11″ x 14″  in an edition of 200. Get it for the very reasonable price of $75 here. Releases: Edwin Ushiro – New Prints

Edwin Ushiro has just released two new prints from last month’s hauntingly beautiful LeBasse Projects‘ show, “Softly Encompassing the Womb” (covered). “Time Therefore Remained Idle Without Light Extruding Acceptance,” pictured above, is Edwin’s interpretation of a Japanese turned Hawaiian ghost story from his youth, while “Rediscovery of the Infinite Stars Inside the Shell,” pictured after the jump, is a self portrait of the artist with his childhood pet, “Rusty.” Moderately priced at one hundred and two hundred and fifty dollars a piece, Edwin’s two new […]

Releases: D*Face – “UnAmerican Graffiti”

Immediately following the Green Day “Art of Rock” show (covered) at StolenSpace, UK artist and gallerist D*Face (interviewed) has come back stateside to pay a visit to the master printers over at Modern Multiples in Los Angeles. “UnAmerican Graffiti,” which you may remember from his “Ludovico Aversion Therapy” (covered) show at Jonathan LeVine last month, is currently being made into an impressive 21 color screen print. Releases: Jeff Soto – “The Three Friends” and “Nature’s Splendor”

Next Monday, Oct. 26th will be a good day for Jeff Soto fans as the Inland Empire artist will be releasing a total of four new giclee prints through his online store, Potato Stamp.  The first three, appropriately entitled “The Three Friends”, come as a set and recreate three of the watercolor pieces he showed RVCA’s “Whammy!” show (covered).  The set will sell for $120 with all three prints measuring in at 10″ X 10,” edition of 100. Releases: Nick Walker – Moscow TMA print

Remember when we told you about the Nick Walker (interviewed) TMA – “The Empire’s State” release in January?  Looks like another TMA (The Morning After) print may be available soon, this time Moscow.  Believed to be possibly the last image to be released in this series, Nick has also posted a mysterious countdown timer on his site (28 days left as of now).  Countdown to the print release, to a new show?  Stay tuned… Discuss Nick Walker here.
