In conjunction with their upcoming show Regime Change Starts at Home, featuring Shepard Fairey, Al Farrow and Paul D. Miller, DC’s Irvine Contemporary Gallery will be releasing a new Obey silkscreen print entitled Rose Girl. The print will be an edition of 450 and will be available for $100 only in-person at the gallery. The exhibition opens October 18th.
Takashi Murakami‘s company, Kaikai Kiki, had announced the release of new limited edition offset prints by Japanese pop artists Mr. and Chiho Aoshima. As the announcement was made on Kaikai Kiki’s Japanese-language Web site, the details are not clear. Tim Biskup‘s new solo exhibition “O/S (Operating System)” opens at Addict Galerie (Paris) on October 11th. The exhibition features 12 new paintings that are sold with an elaborate pedestal that can be assembled upon delivery using parts that come inside the shipping crate as well as the crate itself. Looks as though the highly anticipated “Kaws Trooper” has dropped in Japan at the Original-Fake store.
