Previews: Aron Wiesenfeld – “Solstice” @ Arcadia Contemporary

Continuing his long collaboration (also see 2011, 2012) with New York’s Arcadia Contemporary, Aron Wiesenfeld will be opening a show soon at their Soho location. Entitled Solstice, the new body of work from the San Deigo-based painter will further gift his fans with paintings filled with his haunting and powerful imagery. Along with the opening on September 18th, Wiesenfeld will also be at the gallery on the 20th to sign his new 120 page monograph – The Well. Discuss Aron Wiesenfeld here.

On Thursday night, September 19th, the Long Beach Museum of Art will host the opening of a new group exhibition entitled Risqué {dirty little pictures}. Upcoming: Aron Wiesenfeld – “New Paintings” @ Arcadia Gallery

Next month in New York, gifted painter Aron Wiesenfeld will be unveiling another set of new works (see 2011) at the Arcadia Gallery. If the painting below (The Garden), which will be part of the show, is any indication, then fans of Wiesenfeld’s dreamlike landscapes and emotive characters will want to show up for the opening on November 10th. Releases: Aron Wiesenfeld – “David” Etching

Tomorrow, July 14th (noon PST), Aron Wiesenfeld will be releasing a limited edition etching on his webstore. David will be produced in a run of 45 (with 5 AP’s), sized at 18.5 x 15″, and will cost collectors who want to add it to their collection $295.
