Streets: Andrew Schoultz // artBGC (Manila)

Andrew Schoultz recently traveled (as did Pastel) to the Philippines to participate in the LeBasse Projects curated and produced artBGC. As you can see, the mural he painted over seven days was easily his largest to date and stands over 8 stories high. The event at Bonifacio Global City is a followup to the 2015 edition, and featured other artists like Bunnie Reiss, HotxTea and Dog and Pony who were joined by local artists Kris Abrigo, Trip63, KFK Collective and Archie Oclos. Streets: Pastel // artBGC (Manila)

Francisco Diaz aka Pastel recently spent some time in Manila, Philippines, participating in the second edition of the LeBasse Projects curated and produced artBGC mural festival, creating one of his largest floral murals to date. Recap: artBGC ONE (Manila)

Last week, we shared with you some of the works Nate Frizzell (interviewed) created for the artBGC ONE Festival in the Philippines. We now have a recap of the other murals that were created by international artists like FAILE, Cyrcle., AkaCORLEONE, Kristin Farr, Drew Merritt and Filipino artists Egg Fiasco and Anjo Bolarda for the inaugural event curated by LeBasse Projects, and held in conjunction with the Bonifacio Arts Foundation (BAFI) in Manila. Our minds are still blown by the size of the piece the Cyrcle. boys painted (seen above).

Streets: Nate Frizzell for artBGC ONE (Manila)

A couple weeks ago, Nate Frizzell (interviewed) travelled to the Phillipines to take part in the artBGC ONE Festival. Despite not being a prolific muralist, the Los Angeles-based artist still was able to make his mark painting across the Bonifacio Global City (BGC) with his distinctive imagery of children at play. Curated by LeBasse Projects, and held in conjunction with the Bonifacio Arts Foundation (BAFI), the event also saw artists other international artists like FAILE, CYRCLE, AkaCORLEONE, Kristin Farr, Drew Merritt and Filipino artists Egg Fiasco and Anjo Bolarda join in […]
