Streets: Aryz (Munich)

Prolific street muralist Aryz is back in action with a new wall painted in Germany. The new piece was arranged by Positive-Propoganda, a non-profit art association based in Munich, which is dedicated to establishing contemporary and socio-political art in urban spaces. Streets: Aryz (Norway)

The prolific Aryz is at it again – this time in Norway for the Oslo Triennial of Mural Art. Featuring the young Spanish street muralist’s signature faded palette, the surreal piece was painted on the side of a multi-story building and featured a skeletal man and a young girl. Streets: Aryz (San Francisco) – Part I

As we shared with you a couple of weeks ago, Spanish artist Aryz has a show currently at Fifty24SF (covered). While in town, he has also started doing what he does best – getting up big on the streets of whatever city he is visiting. With the support of the gallery, WallSpaceSF, and Upper Playground, the young painter has been working on a large portrait located on Polk and Eddy Street. Openings: Aryz – “Style Is The Limit” @ Fifty24SF

Spanish “wall painter” Aryz (pronounced ar-eez), opened his 1st US solo show last Friday at Fifty24SF in San Francisco. The young artist is mostly known for the large scale murals he has been painting from Europe through the US to Central and South America. Previews / Installations: Aryz – “Style Is The Limit” @ Fifty24SF

Spanish muralist and artist, Aryz, has been busy setting up his first US solo, Style Is The Limit at Fifty24SF in San Francisco. We lead off this week’s review of street art with a new mural from Roa in Puerto Rico. Painted for the Los Muros Hablan Festival, the Belgium-based muralist rendered a giant Iguana (an invasive pest there, chewing up plants and crops and burrowing under roads and dikes) holding a Coquí, a small frog endemic to the island. Streets: Os Gemeos & Aryz (Poland)

Most fans of street art have be following the creation online of the Os Gemeos and Aryz collaboration mural in Poland over the last several weeks. Our Streets: World Roundup returns this week with this collaborative mural from Serbian twins Sobekcis and Zoer at the top of the list. Streets: Aryz (Copenhagen)

Despite the difficulties in painting over brick, Spanish street artist Aryz has finished a beautiful new mural in Copenhagen for the Galore Festival. As you can see from the photo above, this new piece is right next to the tower that ROA painted at last year’s event.
