This weekend, until Sunday, March 19th at 11:59pm PST, Audrey Kawasaki (interviewed) will be releasing a new print entitled As I Fall. Basel Week Miami ’16 / Recap: Audrey Kawasaki @ Hotel of South Beach

After about almost a week of painting, Audrey Kawasaki (interviewed) has completed her contribution to Basel Week Miami – a stunning mural at the Hotel of South Beach. The piece featuring one of her seductive muses surrounded by blooms is part of this year’s “Fearless Walls” curated by Goldman Global Arts // Jessica Goldman. Currently in in town for Basel Week Miami, Audrey Kawasaki (interviewed) is in the process of painting a pretty sweet mural at the Hotel of South Beach. Already at it for the last 5 days, the Los Angeles-based artist hopes to complete the wall featuring one of her seductive females by tomorrow. Last weekend in Culver City, Audrey Kawasaki (interviewed) opened her sold out show entitled Interlude at the Thinkspace Gallery featuring a stunning and provocative new body of work. Previews: Audrey Kawasaki – “Interlude” @ Thinkspace Gallery

Saturday night (November 12th) in Culver City, Audrey Kawasaki (interviewed) will be opening a new solo show at Thinkspace Gallery entitled Interlude. The new paintings feature a bolder yet still muted palette along with a more erotically-charged narrative for her  beautifully rendered female characters. An expert at coaxing her ethereal muses out from the wood grain with her oil paints, the locally-based artist has assembled a stunning collection of vulnerable yet provocative female subjects for her fans in Los Angeles.
