Recap: James Reka – “Untold” @ Backwoods gallery

James Reka recently escaped the heat of Berlin where he currently lives and works, and visited his hometown of Melbourne in Australia. Openings: Meggs – “Inner Demons II” @ Backwoods Gallery

Prior to showing in San Francisco, the talented Meggs exhibited the second part of his Inner Demons exhibition at Melbourne’s Backwoods Gallery. Similar to his showing in London’s Red Bull Studios, the artist returned to his home country to display a collection of paintings, sculptures and prints utilizing his signature wild strokes & splash techniques. Usugrow and fellow Shinganist artist, Toshikazu Nozaka recently reprised  their 2-man show at Melbourne’s Backwoods Gallery.
