Shawn Barber’s latest solo show, “Tattooed Portraits: Snapshots,” (setup) opened up last weekend at San Francisco’s Shooting Gallery. Yesterday, AM had the pleasure of visiting Shawn Barber as he was putting on the final touches of his solo show “Tattooed Portraits: Snapshots” at San Francisco’s Shooting Gallery (teased). Shawn’s still life paintings and overall representation of tattoo culture look even more impressive in person. The show opens tonight, Saturday the 15th, and we for one can’t wait to check it out in it’s entirety. Process and installation pics after the jump.

One of the shows we are looking forward to this month is Shawn Barber’s solo at the Shooting Gallery in SF. His show, entitled “Tattooed Portraits: Snapshots,” will no doubt draw on his work experience and include honest portraits of tattooed patrons as well as tattoo artists.
