Half a year since his last show with Todd James at V1 gallery in Copenhagen (covered), Barry McGee will opening a China Boo at Ratio 3 in San Francisco. Releases: Barry McGee x HUF Skatedeck

HUF recently released a skate deck featuring the iconic work of Bay Area legend Barry McGee, sold-out on their website but still available here. The 7-ply skateboard measures 31″ x 9″ and features one of the McGee’s faces on the top. Recap: “Highlights From Past SFAQ [Projects] 2012–2015” @ SFAQ [Project] Space

Just closing over the weekend at the SFAQ [Project] Space, the gallery space of the magazine, was a show entitled Highlights From Past SFAQ [Projects] 2012–2015. The title of the exhibition speaks for itself – artists who have collaborated with the publication before on pullouts or inserts have these projects on display along with an artwork that corresponds to it. Upcoming: Barry McGee & Todd James “FUD” @ V1 Gallery

On Friday, May 29th, V1 gallery in Copenhagen will open FUD, a joint exhibition by Barry McGee & Todd James. This will be the second time that the legendary American artists will be creating a two man show at the gallery. Basel Week Miami ’14: Barry McGee Signing @ NADA Beats Booth

While visiting the NADA fair (more on that later), we stopped to take a look at the signing session at a special booth from Barry McGee for fans that purchased his limited edition Beats Pill. Basel Week Miami ‘ 14 / Releases: Barry McGee Beats Pill

Artist couple Barry McGee and Clare Rojas are currently having a joint show at Alessandra Bonomo gallery in Rome. Last week, Bay Area art fans saw the annual Art Market San Francisco come through town. The international art fair held at the Festival Pavilion – Fort Mason Center had galleries, artists, and collectors alike taking advantage of the one week of the year where art was in especially in focus in SF.
