One of the booths we really enjoyed at this year’s Pulse fair was that of Christina Ray, who presented a solo exhibition by artist Beka Goedde. Goedde’s work is very much based in printmaking, using such techniques as etching and Chine-collé (the application of thin colored paper as color) to create unique mixed media pieces that sometimes resemble simple collage and other times look more like complex abstract paintings.
