After a successful sold out Los Angeles debut show with Thinkspace Gallery (covered), Sainer & Bezt aka Etam Cru rounded up their visit to the Southland with another signature, bigger than life mural. This Saturday night (October 25th, 6:00 p.m.–1:00 a.m), Branded Arts will be putting on their biggest event yet at the world famous TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. Featuring a group exhibition along with a DJ set by Talib Kweli, a portion of the proceeds will benefit Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services. The always productive Cyrcle. crew has blessed Los Angeles with another epic mural. While in town for our City of Fire exhibition, Nick Walker (interviewed) also found time to paint a mural for the Boys and Girls Club of Santa Monica. Commissioned by Branded Arts, the project brought a little flavor from across the pond to the West Side as Walker painted and stenciled one of his vandal characters unleashing a butterfly. After coming off an impressive exhibition at Lebasse Projects (covered) where he showed his versatility by focusing on sculptural works, Yoskay Yamamoto (interviewed) decided to try something new in his artistic career and go large scale (see in progress pics here).
