Last weekend in Los Angeles, alongside Robert Williams’ amazing new exhibition (covered), a group show celebrating 20 years of Juxtapoz also opened to the public. Curated by Andrew Hosner from Thinkspace and Gary Pressman from Copro Gallery, the showing featured artists, emerging and established, who have graced the pages of the trailblazing magazine. Openings: “LAX / HKG” @ Above Second Gallery

Last month, the Above Second Gallery opened their latest show featuring a guest curator (also see AM’s turn in 2011) – Thinkspace. Entitled LAX / HKG, the group exhibition featured works imported from the Los Angeles new contemporary movement including Amy Sol, Audrey Kawasaki (above), Brian M. A couple weeks ago, the 20th anniversary of cult hit television show Twin Peaks was celebrated with a group exhibition at the Copro Gallery entitled Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me.
