This Saturday sees a new gallery in the city of Oakland open its doors with a group exhibition entitled House Warming. When Athen B. Gallery first announced its arrival on the scene last month with an open letter to artists and the community it sits within, we were intrigued. Previews / Setup: Clemens Behr – Variety of (N)one @ Mirus Gallery

This weekend, Berlin based artist Clemens Behr opens his first US solo exhibition at Mirus Gallery. Variety of (N)one will feature Behr’s trademark installation-based artworks following a month’s residency with the San Francisco space and will extensively feature materials gathered by the artist from the recent remodelling of the building which houses the gallery. San Francisco based multi-disciplinary artist Meryl Pataky‘s work first caught our eye a couple of years back with her unique use of neon.
