Openings / Setup: CUT IT OUT! @ Urban Nation

A couple weekends ago, Urban Nation continued their ongoing arts program in Berlin with a new show curated by Henrik Haven & Olly Walker entitled CUT IT OUT!. Releases: C215 “Magnificat”

We just received these studio photos from Paris, where C215 is adding final touches to his upcoming new editions.  French stencil artist teamed up this time with Print Them All studio in order to release his 2nd lithograph with them. The title of this print is Magnificat, and it is one of his signature cat images he’s been painting on the streets worldwide. Recap: MyFinBec Pop Up Show (Berlin)

After their inaugural show at their winery in Sion, Switzerland, the MyFinBec project (introduced) toured around Europe showing the commissioned artworks at pop up shows in Cologne, London, Rome, and now has finally reached Berlin. Featuring  eight original artworks, small scale murals painted on 672 wood wine cases in total, by the likes of  Vhils, Herakut, C215, and Etam Cru, these unique events were a perfect mixture of art and wine tasting. Openings: “Language of the Wall: Graffiti / Street Art” @ Pera Museum

The country of Turkey was recently graced by a great exhibition featuring some key graffiti & street artist from around the world. Held at the Pera Museum, the show was entitled Language of the Wall: Graffiti / Street Art and gathered together 20 artists from countries such as America, Germany, France, Japan, Turkey, to give folks in the region a taste of the urban art form from around the globe. Previews: MyFinBec 2014 Show @ Ruttkowski;68

From the 15th till 19th of August, gallery Ruttkowski;68 in Cologne will be showing the new works from this year’s MyFinBec project. The annual series organized by the winery Cave Fin Bec in Switzerland commissions artists to create wine labels for their special limited edition organic wine. This year’s lineup included VHILS from Portugal, Herakut from Germany, C215 from France, and Etam Cru from Poland. In every instance, eight different labels were painted on stacks of 84 crates each. We recently brought you a look at artists at work on the Urban Nation’s Project M/4 in Berlin, curated by Thinkspace. La Tour 13 (Paris)

Over looking the Seine, La Tour Paris 13‎ is a project curated by Mehdi Ben Cheikh from Galerie Itinerrance. During a year, the entire building was painted by 100 international street and graffiti artists, each leaving their mark with murals and installations within the 36 apartments over 9 floors and cellars. Opening to the public for a month from October 1st, the building is due to be demolished in November, making it the largest temporary street art exhibition in France.
