This Saturday, March 3, in New York, the Last Rites Gallery will be hosting another iteration of their Dark Pop exhibition. The fourth version of the show, which has artists focusing on creating one piece that encompasses what they consider “dark art,” will be curated by Gary Pressman and will feature artists like Alexandra Pacula, Ana Bagayan, Brian Despain, Charles Wish, Dave MacDowell, Mark Garro, Matt Dangler, Matthew Grabelsky, TIN, Travis Lampe, Travis Louie, and more. Preview: “Genesis to Revelation” @ Copro Gallery

Tonight, besides Ewelina and Genevive Zacconi’s joint show (previewed), the Copro Gallery will also be hosting a group exhibition entitled Genesis to Revelation. Artists were asked to re-interpret the religious symbology and icons from thousands of years ago about creation and the apocalypse in their own special way. Included in the exhibition are Chris Mars, Naoto Hattori, Stephanie Henderson, Tin, Leslie Ditto, Chrystal Chan, Dave MacDowell, Charles Wish, Vincent Cacciotti, Brian Smith and many more.
