Showing: Daniel Arsham – “Static Mythologies” @ Ron Mandos Galerie

Currently in Amsterdam, Daniel Arsham just opened a show entitled Static Mythologies at Ron Mandos Galerie featuring a diverse selection of works. Along with the European debut of his immersive installation Lunar Garden, the American artist has also included examples of his eroded sculptures and the newer masked sculptures. A couple nights ago, Erik Parker’s new show opened at Mary Boone Gallery’s 5th Avenue space in New York. New Soul is a fresh body of work dominated by the locally-based artist’s series of tondos, his first time working with circular canvases. A couple weeks ago in Dijon, France, the Consortium Museum opened the first ever institutional exhibition devoted to Emily Mae Smith. Bringing together about forty artworks made between 2014 and 2018 from private collections, the show gives a nice overview of the American artist’s recent output.
