Basel Week Miami ’12: David Kordansky Gallery @ Art Basel

One of the galleries with the best and largest stables of  young artists that every collector keeps an eye out for every year at Art Basel Miami Beach is David Kordansky Gallery.  The Culver City, CA stalwart represented Los Angeles’ talked-about art scene to the fullest with great pieces by such coveted artists as Aaron Curry, Kathryn Andrews, Valentin Carron, and Mai-Thu Perret.  Andrews actually has a solo exhibition opening soon at the gallery, so this was a nice taste of things to come.  See […]

Openings: Art Los Angeles Contemporary ’11

This past weekend, the second annual Art Los Angeles Contemporary took place at its newest location, The Barker Hanger.  LA’s best contemporary art fair featured work by established artists such as Barry McGee, Dan Attoe, Richard Jackson, Shepard Fairey and Ryan McGinness, as well as tons of emerging ones.  Participating were galleries from all over the world, including California, New York, Europe, and Asia. One of the galleries with the best stable of “emerging” artists at Art Basel Miami Beach was David Kordansky Gallery.  The Culver City, CA stalwart represented Los Angeles’ growing art scene to the fullest with fantastic pieces by such talked-about artists as Elad Lassry, Aaron Curry, and Kathryn Andrews.  Its booth was so hot that they reportedly sold-out their entire show.  See the pieces they exhibited after the jump…

Art Los Angeles Contemporary ’10 – David Kordansky Gallery

One of the most exciting galleries showing emerging art talent in Culver City, David Kordansky Gallery had a colorful and visually stunning booth at Art Los Angeles Contemporary that contained a mixture of mediums, including painting, sculpture, and photography.  It included artists from their excellent gallery roster, including Amy Bessone, Aaron Curry, Mark Flores, Ruby Neri, Anthony Pearson, Mai-Thu Perret, and Lesley Vance.
