Preview: “Overdose” Hi-Fructose Group Show @ Copro Gallery

After their highly successful group show last year, Hi-Fructose is back again with another exhibition, this time titled “Overdose,” opening April 4th at Copro Gallery.Â With a increasingly more respected reputation as one of the best publications in the scene, they been able to assemble a pretty amazing lineup.Â Sure to be one of the showstoppers is this huge 50 x 50 inch Chris Berens piece seen above.Â See some other preview pics as well as the full lineup after the jump.

Openings: Movers and Shakers @ POV Evolving

“Movers and Shakers” (previewed) opened on Valentine’s Day in Los Angeles’ Chinatown at POV Evolving Gallery and AM dropped by to check it out. Some of the participating artists who also dropped by included Buff Monster, Johnny “KMNDZ” Rodriguez, Mia, and Tessar Lo, among others. Check out photos of the opening after the jump!

Openings: KMNDZ & Ekundayo @ Thinkspace

Judging from the crowd that showed up for the opening, KMNDZ & Ekundayo careers are going in an opposite direction when compared to the stock market right now.Â Luckily we got there early and took some quick pics before it got too packed.Â The two artists spent several days completely transforming Thinkspace and their hard work definitely paid off. Entering the gallery was like entering into their own little post-nuclear apocalyptic world. More pics after the jump.

KMNDZ (above) & Ekundayo’s (below) two-man show is set to open this Friday, October 10th at Thinkspace in the Silverlake district. Arrested Motion was invited to take a look at the installation process last night, as well as take some photos to share with our readers. Those attending this show will be very impressed by the setup, as the two artists have completely transformed the space into the “Red Forest” (title of the show), the most radioactive place on earth.
