This Friday (September 27th) in Berlin, BC Gallery will be hosting the opening of The Distance Between, a three person show featuring the work of Addam Yekutieli aka Know Hope, Icy and Sot, and Eron that will transform the space into an immersive installation. Curated by Sasha Bogojev, the social-politically charged exhibition from the three who have their artistic roots on the streets, touches on the ongoing migration crisis hitting shores and borders all around our planet. Streets: Eron // QUAI 36 (France)

A couple months ago, Eron was able to complete a striking new mural for Phase I of the QUAI 36 project in France centered just outside of Paris in Versailles. Painted in his signature sepia, the piece featuring hands grabbing and releasing doves highlighting the Italian street artist’s skill with the trompe l’oeil technique. Meant to beautify the area where the 1096 social housing units were built in the 1960s, the wall marks Eron’s first public work in France. Streets: Nuart 2016 Murals (Part I)

Always aiming to push the boundaries of street art or post-street art (as they re-defined the works this year), Nuart Festival 2016 produced a series of original and inspiring works around the city of Stavanger. From large-size murals to tiny interventions, we’re bringing you photos of some of the new public pieces created this year. Unlike other festivals, Nuart’s idea isn’t just creating the biggest and brightest murals possible. In the past 16 years, they’ve shown support to mural artists, but also, they also encouraged them to get […]

Previews: Eron – “#present #past #sentiment #dust” @ Galleria Patricia Armocida

Today, Galleria Patricia Armocida in Milan will be opening the #present #past #sentiment #dust solo by Eron. For this exhibition, the Italian artist prepared a series of never-before-seen works consisting of mixed media on paper, spray paint on canvas, and sculptures. The show is based on the same approach he has when painting walls and objects in public – by drawing inspiration from the perceptual phenomenon known as Pareidolia, an instinctive and automatic tendency to find familiar shapes in chaotic images. This phenomenon often helps rationalizing seemingly paranormal […]

While AM is getting ready for trip to Norway for Nuart 2016, we just received couple of work in progress photos by festival photographers Brian Tallman, John Rodger and Calum Lasham. Giving us a taste of what is currently happening on the streets of Stavanger, these shots are just a teaser of what this year’s edition will produce in the Norwegian oil capital. Australian artist Fintan Magee is working on a massive piece on some local silos, right next to his Norwegian colleague Henrik Uldalen who is painting his second ever outdoor mural. Axel […]

Recap: Eron @ Istituto della Enciclopedia Italiana Treccani (Rome)

On the 9th of April, the Institute of the Italian Encyclopedia Treccani held an event they called Streets Art / 30 years of writing graffiti and street art in comparison, giving an overview of the movement through the testimony of artists in Italy. Along with lectures and conversations, one of the main parts of the event was live painting by Eron, organized in the lobby of the institute. As an artist that regularly includes the surrounding environment in the context of his work, as well as touches social issues, he created a homage to […]
