For those street art fans down in Miami for Art Basel Week, you may want to head over to the Wynwood district for the new outdoor mural project. Women on the Walls features work by Aiko (seen above), Miss Van, Fafi, Maya Hayuk, Lady Pink, and Olek in the Wynwood Walls compound. It’s time again for another Streets World Roundup where we review some the public art that you may have missfed recently. Leading things off is this sweet new mural form Phlegm. The Sheffield-based artist painted this Welsh Dragon in Roath, Cardiff for the Empty Walls Festival organized by the Modern Alchemists in Wales. You can check out more photos here. Streets: Faith47 for Avant Garde Urbano (Spain)

Faith47 recently dropped one of her most iconic murals to date in the quaint town of Tudela De Navarra at the fourth annual Avant Garde Urbano Festival (also see our coverage of Vhils’ piece). In an area of Spain that is heavily influenced by Catholicism, she appropriately integrated a piece depicting a strong likeness to the Virgin Mary entitled saturation.incubation.illumination. Nuart ’13: Part VI – Group Exhibition

Along with the plethora of murals painted for this year’s Nuart Festival (see previous years), the artists involved also put together a group exhibition indoors as well. David Choe, C215, Martin Whatson, Hush, Ernest Zacharevic, Dal East, Faith47, Martha Cooper, Aiko and others all created works in their own recognizable style. This Tuesday sees yet more photos from this year’s Nuart Festival (see previous years) where artists continued to throw up murals. Streets: Wooster Collective 10 year Anniversary (DUMBO)

The recent extensive showcase of street art put together by the Wooster Collective for their ten year anniversary exhibition (covered) at Jonathan LeVine Gallery was just the tip of the iceburg. In the streets of Williamsburg & Dumbo, the collective got ahold of some prime wall space for some of the artists involved to work on. It’s been a while since we had a streets round up here on AM so we have some catching up to do. Leading off things for recent street activity around the world is this new mural (photo via SAN) from Conor Harrington (interviewed) in Rochester, New York.
