POW WOW ’13: Faith47

South African power couple Faith47 and DAL were one of the many duos that were in town for POW WOW this last week. We’ll start with the delicate work of Faith first with photos of her mural The Silence Before across from the Fresh Cafe on Queen Street in Oahu. The minimal palette that she uses blended in nicely with the neighboring structures and will be admired by art lovers in that part of town for years to come. Discuss POW WOW here. Leading things off is some behind-the-scenes footage of body artist Emma Hack’s depiction of a car crash with the help of painted human bodies (via Juxtapoz).
