Streets: Wall Therapy Festival (Part II) – Faith47

A couple days ago, we shared with you the mural that DALeast painted for the Wall Therapy Festival in Rochester, New York. His partner in crime, Faith47 was also on hand as she painted her own wall for the event. The piece is entitled Rhapsody and features the religious iconography that is often seen in the South African street artist’s work. More detailed photos below… Discuss Faith47 here.

Streets: Wall Therapy Festival (Part I) – DALeast

Last week, the South Africa-based DALeast sent over photos of a new mural he painted up in Rochester, New York for the Wall Therapy Festival. Held from July 20-28, the urban beautification project will also feature artists like Case, ROA, How & Nosm, Eine, Faith47, and Liqen. We’ll have more for you soon, but for now, check out this impressive whale mural structured from DAL’s signature kinetic whirls and strokes. Discuss DAL here.

Streets: World Roundup (July 16 – 22)

Leading off last week’s Streets: World Roundup is this amazing mural (seen above) painted over the course of a year by Josef Kristofoletti. The project was commissioned by the ATLAS Experiment at CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research and was painted on the side of the ATLAS control room directly above the detector, near the Swiss-French border outside of Geneva by the Texas-based artist. Streets: World Roundup (July 2 – 8)

We start off this week’s look at street activity with this new mural from Mear One (interviewed) in Lincoln Heights as reported by LA Taco. The mural, which features the LA-based artist’s post-apocalyptic imagery, was commissioned by Tee Shirt Spot and is located on Pasadena Avenue.
