The UK-based D*Face (interviewed) will be traveling to Stephen Webster’s Beverly Hills for the US launch of his book One Man and His Dog on Wednesday, February 5th (5-8pm). Along with the standard edition of the monograph, a special box set (limited to 50, $250) will be available which includes a six color screen print. On February 5th (5-8pm), Stephen Webster’s Beverly Hills flagship boutique and gallery will be hosting a new show from D*Face (interviewed) as well as a book signing. Murakami x Harper’s Bazaar Shoot

For those of you who watched Takashi Murakami’s film Jellyfish Eyes, his recent shoot with Harper’s Bazaar may look familiar to you. The Japanese art superstar and some of the characters from the movie spent a day with Angela Lindvall and photographer Jason Schmidt out in Los Angeles prepping for the December/January issue. El Mac x Prada – “In the Heart of the Multitude” Project

Last month during Milan Fashion Week, American artist El Mac was asked by Prada to participate in the In the Heart of the Multitude project. Guided by themes of beauty, femininity, and power, the LA-based street muralist created three murals that were used as the backdrop for the Spring/Summer ’14 Prada Women’s fashion show (see video below). Collectively, he entitled them Sueños y Polvo de Estrellas (Dreams and Stardust) and shared that they were inspired by the work of Alphonse Mucha. Discuss El Mac here.

Releases: Jean-Michel Basquiat x Reebok Collection

Reebok recently released a line featuring the work of Jean-Michel Basquiat as part of their ongoing Affili’Art program. The Fall/Winter 2013 collection features the late artist’s imagery screen-printed and embroidered across different shoes and is now available at Reebok Reserve stockists. After finishing a unique and daring project as inspiration for the paintings in his solo in Los Angeles several months ago (covered), Scott Campbell has worked on something closer to home. On the cover of the latest issue of New York Magazine is his wife Lake Bell covered in his art and profiled in an article along with the tattoo artist.
