A couple weeks ago, Dabs Myla opened up an ambitious new exhibition at the Modernica factory property in Los Angeles entitled Before and Further. Streets / Releases: Saber x Zes (Los Angeles) & Originals

Like they did in 2014 (covered), the AWR/MSK affiliated SABER (interviewed) and ZES recently collaborated on another impressive mural in Los Angeles, this time at the American Tea Room building. The piece in Downtown was made possible with special thanks to Montana Colors USA, The Seventh Letter, as well as Branded Arts and is another example of the locally-based writers’ synergistic artistic energy. In addition to this, they have also just released artwork inspired by the wall they painted together – SABER’s Ape Shit Series and ZES’ Perseverare Series On Paper, […]

Streets: Brusk / Art Rua (Rio de Janeiro)

Last month, we shared with you something Titi Freak painted during the fifth annual ArtRua fair in Rio de Janeiro. Turns out, a member of the Da Mental Vaporz crew was also in town painting a much larger 25m high mural entitled You’ll Sweat Blood And Water. Created over four days by Brusk, the impressive wall featured a disintegrating fire extinguisher made up of graffiti letterforms. Take a look at more photos below… Discuss Da Mental Vaporz here.

For Man Is God, he takes this to the next level with large three-dimensional representations that almost take on a sacred feel like the Easter Island heads. This installation is surrounded by ceremonial banners that cover the walls […]

Lined up neatly on tables at the front of the room were original monochromatic paintings from Ryden that were used for the art on the special plate (seen right below) used by guests the night before at the event. Each little original was given […]
