Openings: Julia Chiang – “In And Out And In Between” @ Fuse Gallery

Brooklyn artist Julia Chiang recently unveiled a new body of work at New York’s Fuse Gallery. Entitled In And Out And In Between, this latest grouping created seem to be a confluence of styles which Julia has worked on previously. These new paintings are also hanging sculptures which combines Julia’s painted “drops” and hand crafted ceramic works. Previews: Yuanyuan Yang – “Refracted Beings” @ Fuse Gallery

Tomorrow night, New York’s Fuse Gallery will premiere a solo exhibition from Chinese artist Yuanyuan Yang. The show entitled Refracted Beings is a taken from the Chinese word for color which also is a homonym for lust. Yang renders her painting to display this strong relationship between color and desire in her characters through a spectrum of colors refracting from their bodies. The show runs from Oct 24th to Nov. 21st so stop by and check this exhibition if you’re in town.
