Opening tonight at The Hole in New York is a new group show entitled Summer Reading. For this exhibition, the showspace was converted into a giant art book reading room where attendees will be invited to take a seat and peruse whatever may interest them. A Look Inside Geoff McFetridge Studio

Geoff McFetridge, who recently showed during at Volta during Art Basel week and also completed a mural at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis, looks like he has a nice space to work in. Printed Pages, the print publication of It’s Nice That, recently paid the Los Angeles-based multidisciplinary artist in his studio. Geoff McFetridge @ Walker Art Center

Earlier this year, artist, animator, and graphic designer Geoff McFetridge visited Minneapolis to speak at the Insights Design Lecture Series 2013 at the Walker Art Center. While there, he also worked on a filmstrip style massive wraparound mural featuring his minimalistic imagery. Releases: Geoff McFetridge x Bushmills Irish Whiskey Decanter

With Saint Patrick’s Day coming up, Geoff McFetridge teamed up with Bushmills to create a whiskey decanter inspired by the original shape of a Bushmills Irish Whiskey bottle. Produced in an edition of 75 and hand blown by the internationally-acclaimed design firm Esque Studio, the special design is for Burshmills’ Since Way Back program – “an initiative dedicated to celebrating groups of friends whose shared experiences and influences are now shaping pop culture.” You can pick on up for $600 here or enter a contest […]

A couple weeks ago, Toronto saw the opening for Geoff McFetridge’s first showing in his native country. Hosted at the Cooper Cole Gallery, Floating featured a series of work that highlighted the artist and designer’s unique perspective and talent with distilling the basic essence of his subjects onto canvas.
